Smoking Brigantine is a strong, dark ale clocking in at a fortifying 10% abv. Brewed with a blend of specialty roasted malts bringing robust notes of charred toast, leathery tobacco and dark fruits. Additions of dark sugar, whole Whitstable Rock Oysters and Bullion hops in the boil contribute candied sweetness, hefty bitterness and a distinct salty, minerality.  Conditioned on whiskey soaked oak spirals for six weeks adding delicious vanilla and spice notes that pair wonderfully with the Smokey malt character.
