A collaboration brew from Tartarus with Piglove Brewery. Brewing together, to produce a big tasty stout with a twist.
Hoja Santa leaves were added during the boil to add a woody character with a minty flavour. Additional Chocolate and Mint Essence were added to the beer for an additional sweetness with a mint after taste, similar to a popular chocolate bar.
"Wow that is minty and bitter roasty chocolate. The mint works so well compared to others where it tastes like chewing gum but this tastes like a dark chocolate after eight they did what they set out to do it seems"

Tartarus Beers area microbrewery that specialise in brewing small batch strong and european styles of craft beers, with a mythical edge. The team is based in Sheepscar just outside of Leeds City Centre.
Jack is the head brewer and head of production with 5 years of experience brewing in the craft beer industry behind him, Jordan covers everything else needed to keep a small business running smoothly including sales, packing & shipping of orders, invoices, inventory ordering, accounts! Sam is the artist who brings the beers to life with his fantastic Mythic inspired artwork.
