Harvey's Brewery - Armada - Golden Ale
4.5% abv - 500ml Bottle - £4
Armada is dry-hopped golden ale with a vibrant hop tone and a dry finish. Robust, refreshing and still a port of call in any beer-drinker’s voyage of discovery.
Armada was one of the first new ‘Golden Ales’ that emerged in the 1980s. It has a pronounced yet balanced hop character, derived from Fuggle and Golding hops. Originally commissioned by the National Maritime Museum, it quickly established itself as a piece of living history.
Harvey's Brewing is best known for Harvey's Best Bitter and takes great pride in craft brewing as a Regional Brewer.
Harvey’s Brewery is the oldest independent brewery in Sussex. Harvey's prides itself as a family business, and the brewery has been in the custodianship of John Harvey’s descendants since 1790, with family members from the seventh and eighth generations working there today, with four ninth generation descendants (aged five and under), which provides plenty of scope for the continuation of Harvey's as an independent family business for generations to come.
